Education is initiation into the life of spirit, a training of human soul in the pursuit of truth and the practice of virtue. The concept of education can never be static, it must allow one to evolve with time. With this concept and its focused vision & mission Rabindrasadan Girls' college has been imparting education to the girl students of the district of Sribhumi (erstwhile Karimganj) and nearby Districts and States. Though initially the college was offering the subjects of social sciences and languages, but with the time as it grew, it started offering the contemporary subjects like Commerce, Computer science, Mass Communication etc. Recently the college is accredited by NAAC with B grade (third cycle).

In accordance with the global trends in higher education the college is constantly striving to expand in curricular, co-curricular and infrastructural fronts. The college has now a girls' hostel with the capacity of over 150 students, three smart classrooms, badminton court, basketball court, and one air-conditioned auditorium.

In this institution, students find scope to develop themselves also in sports, games, cultural and community-oriented activities under the able, caring guidance and leadership of the dedicated faculty members. Students passing out of this college not only get degree but also equip themselves with social and moral values like sharing, dutifulness, forgiveness, team spirit, good citizenship, patience, tolerance, responsibility and integrity of character.
